She was designed for easy handling and the Southerly 57 RS can accordingly be sailed by just two people. She also offers further easy of handling a practicality as her standard specification includes a unique Swing Keel for deep draught performance, yet at the touch of a button, the keel can be raised for navigating shallower waters. The yacht’s hull is characterised by a long waterline, fine entry and beam carried aft to ensure the highest degree of performance, comfort, stability and safety. As an option, the fold down transom door, discreetly hides garaging for a Williams Turbojet 285. The push button system allows easy deployment and recovery of the tender. The interior layout of two double cabins aft accommodates the garaging.
The Southerly 57RS is supplied with CE certification and is built to EU specification and conforms to RCD, design category A. The hull is guaranteed against osmosis for 5 years from the date of manufacture.
