Located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, in the heart of the Balkans, Bulgaria is surrounded by – in the North – Romania, in the East by the Black Sea, in the South by Turkey and Greece, in the West by Serbia and Macedonia.

Bulgaria’s heritage and traditions richness make it unique. The Bulgarian coast is 400 kilometres long and offers sandy beaches, small typical ports and seaside resorts.

The high Antiquity heritage makes it a crossroad of culture, religion and myths. Its capital city Sofia is the cultural and political centre, as well as it is the main exchanges and industrial headquarter in the country.

As for seaside, the town of Varna is one of the most important ports in the Black Sea area. Also, it is an economical, educational and cultural centre.
