Benetti launched their First Crystal 140′ model of the new Benetti Class Range in Viareggio on Wednesday, December 1st amid enthusiasm and satisfaction for Benetti Shipyard.
The launching of the first model of Benetti’s new Crystal 140′ displacement range was another important milestone for the Italian brand Benetti, a world leader in the construction of custom and semi-custom mega yachts.
There was great enthusiasm during the Catholic blessing ceremony, which was simple but moving. The event was attended by the owner and his family and by all the people involved in building this beautiful vessel that stands out for its modern and innovative design.
In the world of yachts, the Crystal 140′ motor yacht is one of a kind. Its inspiring concepts are a special relation with the sea and the love for outdoor life. Comfort, stylishness and functionality characterize the dining areas and lounges of the sun deck and upper deck. The interiors open over the sea through large windows.
The internal décor of the M/Y Crystal 140′ designed by Francois Zuretti together with the owners and their architect, is a personal interpretation of the classic style, evoking the atmospheres and elegance of the Caribbean. The external lines draw large openings on the profile to let in the daylight and illuminate the interiors.
The latest creation by Benetti was launched in Viareggio at the Lusben shipyard, owned by Azimut-Benetti. There, the ship touched water for the first time and proceeded along the canal to the Darsena Italia, where it entered the dock shed at the original site of the Benetti shipyard to undergo its final fitting-out. In early 2011 the yacht will be handed over to its Caribbean owners, ready to sail through the Mediterranean and onward across the ocean.
