Heesen has launched 50m/164ft superyacht WHITE, which was previously known as PROJECT AYLA or hull YN 18250. Part of the shipyard’s highly regarded 5000 Aluminium class, her interior volume comes in under 500GT and her exterior design is by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects. The owners bought the vessel one year into construction and worked with interior designer Cristiano Gatto to personalise the interior for a more bespoke and relaxed family environment.
Inside, the natural colour scheme covers a full range of earthy tones from white to deep brown for elegant living and entertaining spaces. Unique furnishings from Gatto can be found within the main salon and sky lounge and among the customised pieces is a coffee table in gloss ebony, stainless steel and leather that features a convertible top, while Canaletto walnut also features strongly in the design. The Loro Piana sofas were designed to encompass the bookshelves and Hermès fabrics have been used in the furnishings both inside and exposed to the elements in the alfresco lounges and dining areas.
Luxury yacht WHITE will now undergo extensive sea trials in the North Sea near the Oss shipyard, before being delivered to her owners in April this year.
