Benetti has delivered the first superyacht in the Delfino 95′ series, luxury yacht CHRISTELLA II, to her owner from the Czech Republic in a ceremony which took place in Viareggio. Built with a GRP hull and carbon fibre superstructure, the 29m/95ft CHRISTELLA II is light on the water and has a draft of only 1.8m/5.1ft. Her beam of 7m/23ft creates plenty of interior volume for up to 10 guests.
Giorgio M. Cassetta created the concept and exterior styling, providing ample deck space on the upper foredeck for sunbathing, lounging and hosting soirees. A black waterline contrasts strongly against the pristine white hull, which has large square windows running along it that add a touch of military styling.
The interiors, meanwhile, were completed by Petra Karaskova of Creativa Design and draw on inspiration from working with British design firm Aqualuce to turn functional fixtures such as lighting into decorative elements. Canaletto walnut and printed leather panels form the main guest areas and parquet flooring flows through the corridors and Eramosa marble to finish off the table tops.
Starting from the lower deck, the guest accommodation consists of two double cabins and two twin cabins, with crew accommodation in the bow for up to five. The stern tender garage can fit a tender of up to 4.4m/14.4ft in length.
On the main deck the forward Master suite measures nearly 7m wide and 3.2m long, within which there is a separate wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. The main salon has two long windows that flow down either side of the room and to the aft there are glass sliding doors that lead out onto the main deck aft for outdoor lounging and an alfresco meal.
The upper deck foredeck is fitted with a sofa in front of the helm station, a broad sunpad and another sunpad with a raised headrest closer to the bow. To the aft, guests are treated to a dining area with an opening sunroof and mood lighting. Above, the sundeck has two sofas, which is an uncommon feature in yachts of this size.
A pair of 1000 HP Man V8 engines, allow for a top speed of 14.5 knots; ideal for cruising along such coastlines as the Mediterranean.
