The 34m/112ft sloop-rigged sailing yacht known as MM341, or LIARA, has been released from her mould at the Baltic Yachts shipyard.
Designed by Malcolm McKeon, sailing yacht LIARA is being built for an experienced owner who wanted worldwide cruising ability with the potential to take part in regattas.
Once completed, she will feature a retractable propulsion system for excellent speed and manoeuvrability while sailing. Foam and Nomex cores reduce the weight of her carbon composite hull, while other features include a telescopic lifting keel and high righting moment configuration as well as a square top mainsail for responsive performance.
Sailing yacht LIARA features a beam of 7.9m/26ft and a beam of 3.9m/12.8ft with the keel up and 6.2m/20ft with the keel down.
Concept images show a fixed carbon fibre bimini in the cockpit for a sheltered all-weather outdoor living. Both the stern area and the bow have plenty of space for guests to use for relaxation and socialisation.
