The 109m/358ft expedition vessel Project Icecap is due to be built at Lurssen shipyard and launched in 2021. Mega Yacht Project Icecap will be built using the latest technology, which will provide excellent performance and capabilities of cruising in any weather conditions. Although the shipyard has revealed very little information, the renderings released earlier this year show the massive helipad aft of the yacht, spacious tender garage and swim platform.
Mega yacht Project Icecap will feature accommodation for 20 guests and lots of living space, as her interior volume will be over 6500GT.
Luxury expedition yachts have gained a lot of popularity in the charter market. The 73m superyacht Planet Nine, 77m Legend and 73m Cloudbreak are some of the finest all-goer vessels available in remote destinations, including Patagonia, Antarctica, South Pacific and Northern Europe.
