Nautor’s Swan is preparing to unveil its newest sailing yacht addition: SWAN 98. The 30-metre sailing yacht comes from highly experienced naval architect Germán Frers, who placed on board comfort, safety and reliability as the top priorities for this ocean cruising vessel.
Misa Poggi created her beautiful interiors designed to welcome visitors and create a cosy ambience for private relaxation. Soft materials and fine leather are a common design feature in the specifically created range for the SWAN 98. Owners also have two layout options to choose from, placing the Owner’s stateroom aft or forward and three additional en-suite guest cabins located amidships.
The SWAN 98 can be semi-customized with a comprehensive range of options available to Owners, including the choice of a telescopic keel to reduce the draft from 4.9m/16ft to 3.2m/10.5ft. Other technical specifications of note are the hull and deck materials, which use epoxy SPRINT® pre-preg carbon fibre interior and exterior skins on a core of M-grade Corecell foam for high performance and manoeuvrability.
Above deck the cockpit has been designed for entertaining, providing two C-shaped sofas wrapped around alfresco dining tables and two broad sun pads to the stern. There is additional room behind the helm station for guests to use for sunbathing or exercise, and when at anchor the foredeck can also be used to host social gatherings.
SWAN 98 is not yet under construction, however, her appealing design and characteristics will surely attract keen sailors in no time!
