Baglietto has revealed interior concept images for the new motor yacht HULL 10231, which is currently in build at the shipyard with a delivery date set for 2020.
Constructed with an aluminium hull and superstructure, the 54m/177ft superyacht boasts a shallow draft of 2.6m/8.5ft and a beam of 10.4m/34ft. The exterior styling from Horacio Bozzo Design creates an elegant and sturdy appearance using horizontal lines, gentle curves that seamlessly join the foredeck to the main deck below, and a clean exterior colour palette of white hull and superstructure with tinted black windows.
The exterior guest areas provide large aft areas off the main deck and upper deck in addition to a foredeck covered in a broad sunbed and two sofas facing in around a coffee table. A final alfresco dining and lounging area is offered on the sundeck, with a shaded central area.
Italian Design Studio Hot Lab created the modern interiors, which use teal and sky blue accents against pristine white furnishings. The Owner worked closely with Hot Lab to integrate two juxtaposing ideas into one design: Informal lounges and more elegant and refined private areas, as well as a formal dining area within the upper deck sky lounge.
Interior images show a lounge with three sofas coming together to create a U-shaped setting with a massive drop-down widescreen TV as the focus of the social setting. Two circular coffee tables and two armchairs complete the relaxed setting, and behind there are two circular dining tables for intimate family meals. Floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors lead out onto a starboard side terrace. The beach club opens up onto a spacious swim platform and features three large sofas and a bar that is lit from above by a skylight on the main deck aft.
The layout is designed for a large family and places two Master suites on the main deck with four further guest suites placed on the lower deck, and some areas on board have been specially customised for the younger guests. Each bedroom is carpeted and seamlessly joins with the lacquered panels. Brass and leather, and Italian marble in the bathrooms complete the clean contemporary appearance, which is further enhanced by artwork, floor lighting and an abundance of natural light through the large windows.
HULL 10231 will meet the highest class of Lloyd’s Register of Shipping with a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles.
The La Spezia shipyard is currently constructing five yachts: A 43m/141ft Fast Line HT; a 55m/180ft Francesco Paszkowski-designed yacht to be launched in 2019, a 54m/177ft luxury yacht and a 40m/131ft superyacht which both have exteriors from Horacio Bozzo and interiors by Hot Lab and Achille Salvagni respectively, and a third 48m/157ft model in the T-Line range which will be a sister ship to M/Y SILVER FOX and has an expected delivery of 2020.
