Italian shipyard Benetti has announced the delivery of the fourth hull in the Delfino 95′ Class series – motor yacht EURUS – which took place on the 27th of February.
Following the delivery, Benetti CEO Franco Fusignani commented:
“The challenges we have faced the last months of 2018 and those in which we are involved in 2019 are very ambitious, this because we collaborate with technicians and suppliers who work with passion and devotion to achieve significant results that engaged us and will engage us in the conquering of challenging targets.”
Constructed with a fibreglass hull and carbon-fibre superstructure, 29-metre vessel covers four decks and the exterior design is the work of Giorgio M. Cassetta while the interiors from the Benetti in-house team use light and dark oak, marble and parquet flooring for a refined finish. Pastel shades of pink, green and light blue are used for the rooms and create a relaxing environment. With five en-suite cabins to accommodate 10 guests, the bathrooms are just as well designed and have Zebrano and limestone marble for the flooring.
The lower deck crew area is designed to sleep five in two cabins and a Captain’s cabin. The guest area hosts two VIP staterooms and two further guest cabins, all with en-suite facilities.
The Master suite with private bathroom can be found on the main deck forward, and amidships there is a galley equipped with a wine cellar, an ice machine, two washing machines and two dryers. The formal dining area and main salon share the same generous open plan environment and the former seats up to 10 guests in elegant surroundings.
The upper deck contains the wheelhouse, where a glass sliding door leads out onto the aft sunbathing and lounging area with furnishings personally selected by the Owner. Above, the sundeck has a second helm station and a sofa where guests can take in the sweeping forward views.
In terms of technical specs, luxury yacht EURUS is built to RINA classification and has a pair of MAN V8 1000 of 735 kW engines creating 1,000 HP) @ 2300 rpm each for a top speed of 13.5 knots and a range of 2,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
Benetti is also in the middle of its ‘Giga Season’, with the launch of three megayachts over 100m/328ft in length. Two of the mega yachts have already been launched over late 2018-early 2019, the last being FB272 which debuted at the Dubai International Boat Show 2019.
