Italian shipyard Cantiere delle Marche has announced the sale of the 43m/141ft explorer yacht DEEP BLUE 43, which is currently under construction at the facilities.
The contract for M/Y DEEP BLUE 43 was signed in December by an experienced Owner who has also owned Feadship, Lurssen, Blohm + Voss superyacht and another Cantiere delle Marche Darwin 102 luxury yacht in the past. The fully custom explorer yacht from Horacio Bozzo Design was created from scratch in collaboration with the client, resulting in design to fulfil the whole family’s requirements.
The naval architecture was completed by Hydro Tec, who also responsible for her engineering in collaboration with the shipyard’s technical department.
On board, there will be the main salon and a sky lounge on the main deck and upper deck respectively, and further guest amenities include a swimming pool and plenty of relaxation areas both inside and out.
No interior designer has yet been announced, but the general layout for the 440GT interior includes six en-suite cabins across the main and lower decks to serve up to 12 guests. The Owner also requested large and comfortable quarters for the crew for extensive journeys to the farthest corners of the world.
The engine and propulsion package has yet to be revealed, however the shipyard promises an extensive cruising range worthy of an expedition yacht, which will draw frugally from her large fuel tanks.
Once completed, expedition yacht DEEP BLUE 43 will be due for delivery in 2021.
