Charter yacht BELLAMI.COM (ex.KINTA, VINYDREA) has recently completed a transformation to her exterior, changing from a pristine white hull with matching superstructure to a fashionable reflective gold appearance thanks to vinyl finishing company LuxWrap. She now is ready to take her guests on private yacht charters in the Mediterranean for the rest of the summer season.
Two years ago when the process was first being considered for larger vessels, the complexity of the task and the cost was deemed too prohibitive. A hull repaint process can run into the millions of Euros however, and one disadvantage of the traditional technique is that it takes significantly longer to complete.
Although the alternative to a repaint has been done before on smaller vessels and vehicles, the size of 53.2m/174.7ft BELLAMI.COM (which was named after the American hair extension company) posed its own unique challenges in the application of 600m²/6458ft²of gold vinyl wrap: The process which was meant to be completed in 10 days ran over into 13 due to bad weather at Port Viareggio, logistics issues and when an upgrade of the jet skis to tenders also caused delays.
Built by Turquoise Yachts in 2008, luxury yacht BELLAMI.COM features the exterior styling of Caliari Superyacht while the interiors are the work of Jean Guy Verges from her extensive 2012 refit. Pale interiors in cream and white are contrasted by dark wenge flooring, with large windows and numerous spotlights for bright interiors at any time of the day.
Among her noteworthy features is a pool along the stern of the main deck that is fed by a glass waterfall, a spa and beach club as well as a lift (elevator) connecting all floors.
The accommodation provides for up to 12 guests over 6 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 3 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. The Master suite has 180-degree views as well as a private terrace, and the VIP stateroom comes with its own lounge and Jacuzzi tub.
M/Y BELLAMI.COM currently offers yacht charter vacation from EUR€ 210,000 per week plus expenses, and will soon be attending London Fashion Week, where the main focus is on luxury, the latest trends in the beauty and fashion industries. The yacht’s new appearance is in vogue for Spring 2020, according to famous Versace and Chanel who presented their collections with cold accessories.
LuxWrap has a range of colours and custom options available for Owners to personalise the appearance of their superyacht, with finishes including matte, gloss and metallic, and colours across the spectrum. Interiors can also be personalised and window film that prevents 99.9% of UVA and UVB rays entering is also available.
