The 62m/204ft luxury superyacht AMELS 206 has been sold. Her new owner from the Asia-Pacific region is expecting the yacht to be delivered in spring 2020.
Motor yacht AMELS 206 is part of the highly successful AMELS Limited Edition series, designed by Tim Heywood. The owner worked together with both Tim Heywood and the shipyard’s in-house team to create a colour scheme for the new vessel: light grey hull and white superstructure. Laura Sessa, in collaboration with AMELS, will work on the interior design.
Rose Damen, the Managing Director at AMELS and DAMEN shipyards, says: “The AMELS 206 is a proven performer and a real headturner. She is a beautiful yacht with striking curves. We’re proud to be completing this yacht for our client and can’t wait to see her on her maiden voyage next year.”
With a volume of 1,131 GT, AMELS 206 can accommodate 12 guests across six airy staterooms. The crew quarters sleep up to 14 staff members.
The top speed is expected to be around 16.5 knots, while with a cruising speed of 12 knots, the yacht will have a range of 5,000nm.
