Extra Yachts, part of Palumbo Superyachts, has sold a new EXTRA 86 luxury yacht to a European Owner, with delivery set for summer 2020.
The 26m/86ft luxury yacht will become the sistership to recent delivery, motor yacht MINI K, which was received by her Owner in June ahead of her successful public debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
The EXTRA 86 was designed by Francesco Guida and is one of a six-model range, which is comprised of the EXTRA 76, EXTRA 86, EXTRA 86 FAST, EXTRA 93, EXTRA 120 ALLOY and EXTRA 130 ALLOY.
The accommodation aboard the EXTRA 86 is designed for up to eight guests across four en-suite cabins, consisting of an Owner’s cabin, a VIP stateroom and two twin cabins. The crew of three is accommodated in the bow in two en-suite cabins.
Notable features include a glass canopy over the forward main salon, and the solar panels are optimally placed to absorb energy and power systems on board. The galley to the aft is perfectly placed to serve guests inside and out, and the cockpit is spread over three levels descending to the sea, covering an area of 50m2/538ft2. The flybridge is furnished with a bar and C-shaped sofa beneath the shade of the hardtop, creating another desirable outdoor living and dining area for guests.
The ‘FAST’ version is installed with IPS 1350 powered by 3 Volvo Penta 735 kW engines, which have the advantage of running quietly and also providing a top speed of 30 knots.
The Monaco Yacht Show 2019 will debut the EXTRA 130 ALLOY, the 40-metre flagship for Extra Yachts that was constructed at the nearby Savona shipyard of Palumbo Superyachts.
A new EXTRA 86 luxury yacht is being built on speculation by the yard, with a due date set for summer 2020.
