The magnificent 85 metre sailing vessel Signora Del Vento appears to be the real star at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival in France this year.
The sailing yacht Signora Del Vento has been plying the oceans since 1962, when she was born in Poland and is now hosting an exclusive “Lancia Caffè” in the shade of her 3000 m² of impressive black sails, bearing the distinctive Lancia logo.
The historic vessel is the venue for the international cinema events during the 63rd Cannes Cinema Festival, which is now in course since the 12th May right through to the 13rd of May.
Signora Del Vento sailing yacht is hosting parties, meetings, press conferences and interviews with the stars of the wold cinema.
The first event took place yesterday 12th May 2010 hosting an international press meeting before the showing of Ridley Scott’s “Robin Hood”, starring Russel Crowe and Cate Blanchett. The event then continued with a Majestic Beach Party with more than 1000 guests attending.
Signora del Vento will continue being under spotlight during the whole event, for example the 15th of May, the evening before the Formula 1 GP, she will be in the waters off the Principality of Monaco and host the “Black Moon Benefit Gala”, organized by Lancia and Mandela Day under the aegis of His Majesty Prince Albert II of Monaco.
The prestigious Signora Del Vento yacht will also host The Premium Cinema Corner, a venue for meetings with world cinema celebrities for the duration of the Festival.
