Williams Performance Tenders, the world’s leading jet tender specialist, has been selected by leading superyacht builder Pendennis to provide a customised tender for the newly launched Sailing yacht Christopher.
The 46m performance cruising ketch Christopher, designed by Ron Holland and built by Pendennis, was launched in Falmouth on 4th December after a 22 month building project. Taking pride of place on board is a bespoke Williams 505D Turbojet, the first in a range of unique diesel tenders currently in development.
Mathew Hornsby, joint managing director of Williams Performance Tenders, said: “It was an honour for us to be chosen as the tender for the SY Christopher. We are delighted to be working alongside such a well regarded and reputable shipyard and superyacht designer, and to be able to showcase to our customers the huge range of options available. The development of our diesel tender range is a very exciting step for Williams, so it is great to see the first model selected for such a prestigious craft.”
Duane MacPhail, spokesperson for Palm Beach Yachts International who managed the build, commented: “We have been very impressed with Williams. The completely customised owner’s tender was developed in collaboration with the team to the highest superyacht standards and it has been a pleasurable experience throughout the process”
