Turkish shipyard Licia Yachts has unveiled a new 24m/78.7ft motor catamaran concepts designed for expeditions and known as the LICIA C24 EXPLORER.
Both the hull and superstructure are constructed using an epoxy resin with naval architecture from Notilus Design, exterior styling from the shipyard in-house team and interiors by Darnet Design.
The spacious 9.85m/32ft beam offers a group of up to 10 guests 175m2/1883ft2 of interior space and 190m2/2045ft2 of exterior living areas. The decor has been described as light and contemporary, and the initial concept images show earthen tones with yellow accents for a pop of colour and luxury materials incorporated into the surroundings.
Customisation options allow the Owner to choose between a four cabin layout to sleep eight guests or a 10 cabin layout for five guests with a crew of four in two cabins. The Owner’s suite is placed on the main deck forward and enjoys 180 degree forward views and private access to the foredeck.
Twin Cummins QSM11 engines create a maximum speed of 20 knots, a cruising speed of 10.5 knots and a transatlantic range of 3,200 nautical miles.
Notable features include a spa pool on the flybridge with sunbeds along the stern and a glass skylight illuminating the main salon below. Within the main salon, there are curving sofas, a widescreen TV mounted on the wall and a forward circular formal dining area to seat all guests in comfort while a bar opposite has plenty of options for refreshments.
