The new Sunseeker‘s flagship, SUNSEEKER 161, is currently under construction. With a delivery scheduled for September 2020, the shipyard has just released some renders to show the exterior and interior design to which the yacht is being built.
ICON Yachts are leading the construction process in the Netherlands, while the design work was carried out by studio Design Unlimited.
The aft deck features sunpads, free-standing furniture, and a bar. Access to the water is made easy with a large swim platform, which has three hydraulic balconies. On the sundeck, the sun loungers and Jacuzzi offer plenty of opportunities to relax and sunbath. The alfresco dining area with a bar benefits from the shade provided by the canopy top, making sunny days more enjoyable while still being able to enjoy the fresh sea breeze.
Wheelhouse deck hosts plenty of room for social gatherings with a large dining table for 10. From there, the full-height glass doors lead to the indoor area. Located forward on the same deck, the circular seating area with a cinema screen provides space for star gazing at night or a romantic movie session in the evening.
On the main deck, the airy living area is equipped with soft furnishing and a coffee table. The main deck aft includes a raised deck with a plunge pool and sunpads.
The tender garage is perfect for carrying a 7-meter tender or setting up a gymnasium, sauna or storage space for water toys and diving equipment.
Accommodation onboard is provided for up to 10 guests across five cabins. However, the possibility of adding an extra cabin to sleep two more guests is there and depends on the owner’s preferences.
