Amels has announced that the launch date is approaching for their largest superyacht yet, a CUSTOM 78M AMELS vessel by Espen Oeino that currently has not been named.
The luxury yacht is being built in Romania and is due for launch on the 4th of December before she heads to the Netherlands for outfitting. Once completed, she will be ready for delivery in 2021.
The project was first announced at the Monaco Yacht Show 2019 and the fully-custom vessel will feature spacious exteriors with a foredeck social area featuring a Jacuzzi, a broad sunbed and a fire pit on the bow. The upper deck aft will also have a spa pool, while there is enough space on the forward sundeck for a helipad. The interiors will be designed by Francois Zuretti, who has described the interiors as ‘contemporary, comfortable and functional’ with an ethnic motif.
Although the custom 78m/255.9ft Amels superyacht is not the longest luxury yacht from the Dutch superyacht, it is the largest in terms of interior volume at 2,850 GT and surpasses the 2016-built luxury yacht HERE COMES THE SUN which comes to 2,827 GT.
