The 58th edition of the Antigua Yacht Charter Show ran from the 4th-9th of December and the event showcased some of the latest luxury yachts available for charter and sale within the region, among which was the latest tender models from Iguana Superyacht Tenders.
Iguana Superyacht Tenders have been coupled with some prestigious luxury yachts: Before Benetti M/Y SPECTRE was sold, the company delivered a Commuter model to Mr. Staluppi.
Nicolas Benazeth, Director of Charter at CharterWorld experienced the new model for himself at ACS:“I was invited to try out the new Iguana model at the Antigua charter show. I was most impressed by her performance, design and manoeuvrability…”
One of their greatest advantages is their amphibious capacity to land on beaches even in 1.2m/4ft surf, however they are also capable of grappling slopes greater than 30 degrees, making use of their low centre of gravity and torque. This makes them ideal for expeditions as well as Owners looking for luxury, comfort and safety comparable to their superyacht.
Crew will also notice the advantages, as only two people are required to reach shore directly and stage the beach twice as fast as a regular tender. Their reliability and low maintenance mean less work for the crew for a more efficient life on board while the Owner is cruising and during charters.
