The largest sailing yacht ever built at Royal Huisman, SEA EAGLE II, was launched only a few days ago. She was designed by Mark Whiteley Design and Dykstra Naval Architects, while Mark Whiteley Design also worked on the interior, and Dykstra Naval Architects developed the naval architecture. The installation of her masts is scheduled for the upcoming days. After that, SEA EAGLE II will undergo sea trials, followed by crew training.
Not only she is the largest yacht ever built by the shipyard, but she is also the largest aluminium sailing yacht in the world and is among the largest sailing yachts in the world.
As with most large superyachts, very few details have been released by the shipyard at this stage. However, it is known that accommodation onboard is provided for up to 12 guests and 13 crew.
The owner of sailing yacht SEA EAGLE II is Taiwanese billionaire and philanthropist Samuel Yen-Liang Yin.
