Luxury charter yacht CLOUDBREAK has recently been cruising in Southeast Asia when she needed to refuel and provision before continuing on route to the Mediterranean. The Asia Pacific Superyacht (APS) team and Gordon Fernandes supported the Captain of M/Y CLOUDBREAK throughout the process.
Her cruise took her from Phuket in Thailand to Galle, Sri Lanka, where she stayed for 48 hours from the 24th of May until the 26th. Although Covid-19 restrictions created delays in provisioning and created obstacles for engine repairs, both situations were resolved swiftly and to the satisfaction of Captain Jerry and the crew of CLOUDBREAK, with remote assistance allowing the engineers on the ground and the crew to adapt to the situation.
After departing Galle to continue cruising in Southeast Asia, Captain Jerry of CLOUDBREAK wrote to the APS team: “…Trust you are well and thank you again for your assistance, it was great to visit Sri Lanka at last, albeit briefly and weirdly the second time. Hopefully, we’ll do it again.”
