After completing sea trials in the North Sea, 99.95m/327.9ft luxury yacht MOONRISE has been successfully delivered to her Owner.
She was first seen in early February at the Makkum facility before she was launched in March, when the world got to see her sleek and strong profile from De Voogt. An abundance of glazing creates continual bands around each deck, while the exteriors are flush to provide uninterrupted views from within. There is an outdoor gym and wellness centre, a generous beach club, and a helipad on the foredeck.
The interiors by Rémi Tessier Design are cavernous thanks to high ceilings throughout and a beam of 15.5m/50.8ft, and the light-filled interiors include eight en-suite cabins to sleep up to 16 guests. The crew accommodation is also fitted to premium quality and accommodates up to 32 crew and staff.
The engineering has taken into account sustainability and efficiency, and the Jacuzzi uses less electrical power due to the heat recovery system. The Dynamic Positioning System (DPS) that keeps MOONRISE in place without dropping anchor is ECO certified, and the propeller is designed with as little noise emission as possible while in use. The twin MTU engines give a top speed of 19.5 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots.
