The Cannes Yachting Festival is to take place on the 8th of September having been labelled ‘Safe & Clean’ by French risk management organisation APAVE.
Franck Riester, the French Minister for Foreign Trade and Economic Attractiveness, initially gave consent on the 27th of July for exhibitions, trade fairs, conventions and professional events to resume from the 1st of September.
The 43rd edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival is the first trade show to receive the ‘Safe & Clean’ label, which is designed to reassure visitors and exhibitors alike that safety regulations are in place that meet current conditions. The show will display nearly 400 vessels from shipyards worldwide, with boats up to 43m/141ft docked at both of Cannes’s ports. Port Canto will host the 70 sailing yachts, while the larger Vieux Port will have the motor yachts, plus the Luxury Gallery, located in the Palais des Festivales.
The Cannes Yachting Festival will run from the 8th – 13th of September starting from 10am – 7pm, with a late night until 10 pm on Friday the 11th.
