Italian shipyard Antonini Navi introduces the new OPV 56 PROJECT, a luxury yacht under 500 GT that was designed for a European Owner, who booked a slot at the yard until the end of May 2021.
Developed in conjunction with Fulvio De Simoni, the 56m/183.7ft motor yacht is one of the few in its size category to come in below 500 GT. She features military styling and is built with an aluminium hull and superstructure. A high bow creates an imposing silhouette, and horizontal lines and strong angles give a masculine appearance.
Both the interiors and exteriors are designed with a ‘functionalist approach’, with everything onboard serving a purpose. The flush foredeck is designed for a helipad, and the upper deck is entirely dedicated to the Master suite. The main deck aft is spacious at more than 150m2/1614ft2 and can be customised to the Owner’s wishes: Concept imagery shows the possibility of the main deck aft swimming pool and room for sunbathing facilities, a lounge and a bar.
Antonini Navi is also working on a UP40 luxury yacht, a modular ‘utility platform’ with more details expected at launch.
