New on-board imagery reveals what has made the CLB88 model luxury yacht from CL Yachts an award-winning design and ready to become a part of a new elegant Roaring Twenties.
Milan-based designer Jozeph Forakis worked with the shipyard to produce a vessel that was deliberately limited in its use of materials and colours for a refined, minimalist design that exudes efficiency without any detriment to ambience or comfort.
Carbon fibre and multiaxial fiberglass were used in the construction, producing a responsive and lightweight hull with a draft of just 1.65m/5.5ft at full load. In addition to a GOOD DESIGN Award, the CLB88 motor yacht was shortlisted for an International Yacht & Aviation Award as well as becoming a finalist at the BOAT Design & Innovation Awards.
The open plan layout of the main deck still remains warm and inviting through a combination of rich wooden panelling which seamlessly matches the floors, and neutral furnishings in black, white and grey with joyful accents in orange. Guests will emerge into the galley at the start of the day with breakfast awaiting them in a bright setting with excellent views of the anchorage. The formal dining area and main salon behind are a place for family and friends to relax in a climate-controlled environment and make use of the cutting-edge entertainment systems to while away the time in transit and wind down at the end of a long day.
When it comes to the accommodation, there are 4 en-suite cabins on the lower deck to sleep up to 8 guests. The Master suite and VIP stateroom are both full beam and placed amidships, accessed via a separate stairway to the double cabins and twin cabin farther forward. The crew accommodation sleeps up to 4 in 2 cabins, placed in the stern on the lower deck to maintain guest privacy.
The outdoor areas have been designed to maximise space for guest usage while providing amenities conveniently close by: Both the main deck aft and flybridge have a bar for refreshments as guests lounge or dine alfresco, shaded for the peak sunny hours. Sunbathing areas can be found on the flybridge aft, the foredeck and the large lower deck swim platform, granting guests plenty of options.
The new luxury yacht model CLB88 offers much more than refined living spaces: The twin Caterpillar C32 ACERT diesel engines give a faster than average cruising speed of 22 knots, at which she has a range of 400 nautical miles.
M/Y CLB88 is sure to prove a desirable choice for Owners who want effortless style and a future-proof design all under 30m/98ft.
