Dutch shipyard Van der Valk has announced the successful launch of 33.7m/110.8ft motor yacht BLUE JEANS, sporting a stylish blue hull and superstructure befitting of her name.
Diana Yacht Design was responsible for her naval architecture, while Guido de Groot has created her stunning appearance inside and out: As beautiful as M/Y/ BLUE JEANS is on the outside, the detail and quality craftsmanship of her interiors will truly enchant those who step aboard. Various marbles, metals and wood come together to make a harmonious interior that plays with light, and the ceiling height of almost 2.5m/8.2ft makes for cavernous living spaces.
Life alfresco is divided between the intimate flybridge – where the alfresco dining table and seating are arranged for close conversation – the foredeck and the main deck aft. The foredeck gives sweeping views of the surroundings while guests lounge and sunbathe, while sofa seating on the main deck aft invites guests to settle in for the evening to savour the warmth of cruising grounds such as the Bahamas and Eastern Mediterranean.
The guest accommodation is situated on the lower deck and consists of a full-beam Master suite, 2 VIP staterooms and 1 twin cabin to sleep up to 8 guests. The accommodation for a crew of 4 is in the bow.
When it comes to cruising, superyacht BLUE JEANS is capable of a fast-cruising speed of 22.5 knots and a top speed of 28 knots using twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines.
Van der Valk is currently attending the Cannes Yachting Festival, running 6th – 11th September, where the shipyard’s luxury yacht LADY LENE is on display.
