The speedy image of open yachts is often associated with the less alluring characteristic of fuel-guzzling in the luxury yachting industry, yet even the fastest craft can go green – as proven with the 29m/95ft luxury yacht CENTUONO FORZA from Italian shipyard Centuono Navi.
The new shipyard from designer Manuela Lucchesi and naval architect Marco Arnaboldi has created an open yacht capable of more than 60 knots, and a cruising speed of over 50 knots. The low-resistance hull form is a sandwich composite construction 30% lighter than open yachts of a similar size. Furthermore, the CENTUONO FORZA produces 50% less CO2 emissions by using three MAN 12V 2000hp engines coupled to next-generation MJP waterjets. At her cruising speed of 50 knots, Owners have a range in excess of 500 nautical miles, making her an ideal yacht for those on the go.
Style, comfort and entertainment are all present on board as well: The main deck cockpit gentle joins into the lower deck and a spacious swim platform with fold-down side terraces. Guests can choose the sunbeds and seating here or on the foredeck, while inside there is a dining table and lounge on the main deck.
The accommodation consists of 4 en-suite guest cabins to sleep 8 on the lower deck: 1 Master suite, 1 double cabin and 2 twin cabins. A crew of 4 are accommodated in the bow to keep everything in top condition for glamorous city soirees or tranquil beach living amongst remote isles.
