Turquoise Yachts has transferred its 79m/259ft luxury yacht PROJECT TORO from its facilities at Kocaeli to Pendik, where interior installation a
nd outfitting will be completed as well as the topcoat paint application.
The transfer operation took place on the 6th of October using a floating dock with a 2,500-ton lifting capacity.
M/Y PROJECT TORO has a sleek exterior appearance from Ben Harrison of Harrison Eidsgaard Design and will be the shipyard’s largest luxury yacht since the 77m/252.7ft motor yacht GO. PROJECT TORO is described by the designer as having ‘a neo-classical exterior’ that has ‘hints of a funnel rising from the main deck to sundeck’. The interiors have a tranquil colour scheme, and a sizeable Neptune lounge is one of the highlights of the design.
Turquoise Yachts currently has six projects under construction, including the 87m/285ft VENTO and the 76m/249ft ARROW. The launch of the 53m/174ft luxury yacht JEWELS is a few weeks away, and superyacht PROJECT TORO is due for launch in 2023.
