Last weekend Wally Yachts launched the first 30m WALLY 101 cruiser racer sailing yacht in Marina di Ravenna in Italy. In true Wally Yachts style, she is a light (just 56 tonne) displacement yacht with powerful sail plans and a planing hull.
Exterior design is from the desk of Wally and Santa Maria Mganolfi with additional naval architecture by Judel/Vrolijk & Co.
Wally Yachts founder and Chief Designer, Luca Bassani had this to say, “I’m extremely proud of the results achieved … with weight almost 15% less than yachts of similar size. This achievement is accomplished thanks to the latest carbon fibre technology pioneered and developed over the years by Wally, using a high-tech sandwich composite”.
As well as the innovative performance she also offers a family-friendly layout with plenty of lounge and dining space for guests inside and out. Plus, six guests can be accommodated in three ensuite staterooms.
Sailing yacht WALLY 101 is set for launch in 2024.
