Iconic Italian shipyard Riva launches Riva 82′ motor yacht DIVA, a new model in the flybridge range, introducing not only a new boat size but also a state-of-the-art approach to the use of space on board.
The exterior areas are the main focus on board the new Riva. They were created to allow guests to be in close contact with the sea and completely relax and enjoy the yachting experience. The vast flybridge spreads over 40 square metres, one of the largest for a boat of this calibre.
Each living area has its own dedicated space on board, occluding a lounge with a dinette and a bar in the centre, while the sunbathing area forward is protected by a carbon fibre hard top with glass panels. There is also another lounge area aft.
The main deck offers a huge stern beach club characterised by two large bulwarks that swing down to create lateral terraces. This enlarges the area by 3 metres. A jet tender of up to 3.45m and a seabob is hosted in a garage, which is located in the centre of the beach club. Forward of the beach club is the raised cockpit fitted with facing sea-view sofas, providing an unprecedented living area of nearly 35 square metres.
The galley, which leads to the helm station and, through the port-side external walkway, to the forward lounge area, is at the forward end of the main deck and is designed either to be closed off from or to open out onto the dining area in order to create a seamless space. Even the stairwell connecting to the flybridge is part of the decor thanks to glass walls that dissolve the visual barrier between interior and exterior.
Accommodation is located on the lower deck and spreads over 4 cabins that include 3 guest cabins and one full-beam master suite. The two crew cabins accommodate up to 3 members.
The yacht is fitted with two MAN V12 1800 engines reaching a top speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots. The Riva 82′ Diva will premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023.
