The 75.8m mega yacht Project 825 under construction by the renowned Dutch shipyard Feadship was recently moved to their Kaag facility for further outfitting. Boasting elegant, simple exterior lines created by Studio De Voogt and a striking interior by Gilles & Boissier – designers of the Baccarat Hotel in New York.
Spreading over four spacious decks, the vessel offers numerous outstanding features, the latest technology and luxurious amenities on board. There is a large beach club at transom, that opens out on each side. Above, there is a large glass-bottomed pool with direct access to the lower deck accommodation, which includes two double suites, one twin cabin and one convertible stateroom.
The owner’s deck includes a large master stateroom with a spacious bathroom, a walk-in wardrobe and a private study. There is also a private terrace with a Jacuzzi to enjoy. Slinging glass doors unite the owner’s lounge with the aft terrace with a private dining area shaded by the overhang. A touch-and-go helipad is also located forward.
The large pool served by the bar is the highlight of the main deck. Moving on the inside, the large lounge and dining area flow with the exterior seamlessly thanks to the large sliding glass doors. Young and the young-at-heart will enjoy the games room forward, while the full-beam VIP suite with a large bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, and a lounge with a private balcony offers a private refuge for guests on board.
The spa centre on the bridge deck includes a sauna and an aft-facing gym, which can be climate controlled or open on three sides. The spa is placed above another terrace with a bar, lounge and sunbathing around a Jacuzzi. A practical elevator connects the main deck with the bridge deck.
Accommodation also includes cabins for seventeen crew and there is a storage for a 9,80m tender, a rescue tender and water toys.
The yacht is powered by two MTU 2,000 hp Diesel engines, reaching a top speed of 15.4 knots and has a cruising speed of 12 knots. Her transatlantic range is 5,000 nautical miles. Project 825 by Feadship is scheduled for delivery in 2024.
