The owner of superyacht OASIS commissioned Lusben to undertake some important upgrades to their now 63m (206’8”) yacht. The result, which was delivered this week, is a fully repainted hull and extended beach area plus various teak deck enhancements on the main and upper deck.
The beach area extension involved major structural steel work plus modifications to the hull and deck fittings to achieve an increase of 3.6m in length. This specialist work was carried out in collaboration with FM Architettura and Studio Sole naval engineers and took 6 months.
“The refit project … demonstrates the confidence shown by the Captain and Owner in Lusben,” said Commercial Director Gianni Paladino. “The relationship established between project management, work team, the Captain and the crew made it possible to complete this complex project in a short timeframe and to the owner’s complete satisfaction”.
Other major refit work included repainting corridors and the addition of extensive glazing on the main and upper deck to achieve panoramic views of the sea. The teak deck was replaced on the main deck and steps and redesigned in a striking ‘fan’ effect.
Superyacht OASIS features a deck jacuzzi, gym, cinema, Steinway piano and a host of other fabulous facilities for up to 12 guests in six suites. She is available for charter across the Mediterranean and Caribbean, so do get in touch if this stunning yacht piques your interest.
