The Cannes Yachting Festival was the perfect stage for the 25.29m (82’) Riva 82 Diva to make her global debut and she was received with great acclaim by the distinguished audience. The expertise behind the 82 Diva comes from Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta from Officina Italiana Design and Piero Ferrari who led the Strategic Product Committee.
She shares some features with her predecessors such as the low and sporty profile and distinctive windshield – but presents innovative new solutions including higher gunwales with painted composite profiles instead of traditional handrails. The designers committed to exploring innovative ideas across the exterior deck spaces and have created a generous flybridge with a carbon fibre hardtop and glass panels and a versatile beach club which can be expanded by opening two large bulwarks. The 35sqm cockpit is filled with outward looking sofas making the most of the sea views under the shelter of the flybridge overhang.
Venturing inside the Riva 82 Diva reveals interiors that reflect the brand’s signature style and a layout including a split-level main salon adjacent to a main deck galley which allows it to be opened up to improve functionality. There are four suites on the lower deck, all with ensuite bathrooms featuring Corian or Statuarietto marble tops. The full-beam owner’s suite is astern, the VIP cabin forward and two double cabins, providing accommodation for a total of eight guests. The crew quarters – two separate cabins with a total of three beds, a bathroom and a laundry station – are amidships and accessed via a dedicated walkway on the side of the superstructure to guarantee complete privacy for both the owner and guests.
The helm station exemplifies cutting-edge technology and prioritises visibility and functionality, with a sliding glass partition offering unobstructed views. Owners can choose between two engine configurations: a pair of MAN V12 1800 engines for a top speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots, or two MAN V12 1900 engines for a top speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots.
Riva Yachts is a brand of the Ferretti Group and produces yachts which share a spirit of performance, safety and exclusive style – and many of their vessels are available for charter worldwide.
