The team at Royal Huisman have announced that 52m (171’) motor yacht PROJECT 406 has left the construction hall at their facility in Vollenhove in the Netherlands. The next stage of construction will involve the installation of her upper deck, sun awning hardtop and radarmast.
She is an exceptional vessel designed by Vripack Yacht Design, and the world’s largest true sportfish yacht with a towering profile accommodating six decks. Her distinctive design includes a long bow and high bulwarks sweeping down to a low and uncluttered aft cockpit. The high tower offers outstanding views with the downward angle on the water enabling specialized fishing.
As well as being the largest sport fish yacht she is also the most bespoke, having been finely appointed and meticulously engineered by a dedicated team of over 350 skilled craftsman and technical experts. Royal Huisman is regarded as one of the only shipyards with the capabilities to deliver such a project.
Once the final testing is completed, she will be transported to her launch site from where she will undergo sea trials.
