Launched back in November 2023, 74m (242’7”) superyacht NOME, has now been spotted on sea trials close to Vlissingen, the Netherlands. As the eighth semi-custom Amels Limited Editions 242, she made history as one of two yachts launched on the same day from the Damen Yachting headquarters in Vlissingen City.
Her eye-catching Flag blue hull and Oyster white superstructure have legendary designer Tim Heywood to thank for their beautiful lines and her interior is the work of British studio Winch Design. She features vertical lines and long stretches of windows in dark grey, which flood the interior with natural light. Agate blue stones adorn the walls of the main lobby while marbles and mosaics in a palette of blues feature throughout her spa and wellness area.
She includes a dedicated owner’s deck with a Jacuzzi, a large aft swimming pool and a lower deck spa and wellness space. She can sleep up to 12 guests across six staterooms, with a choice of unique dining and entertaining areas onboard.
Superyacht NOME is equipped with twin Caterpillar engines, which give a top speed of 16.5 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
We wish her luck on her sea trials.
