SES Yachts have announced the delivery of 32.7m (107′)motor yacht FAR NIENTE from the shipyard in Istanbul, Turkey. She has been designed by Hoek Design Naval Architects who have created contemporary classic, based on the herring luggers which fished the North Sea in the early 20th Century.
Innovative technology includes Hoek Design’s VVP and CFD programmes which optimise the hull and propeller for fuel efficiency which delivers an impressive 3750 nautical mile range a cruising speed. This technology is combined with classically alluring lines showcased n he Deck House, which is built from cold moulded wood composite with beams and structural elements visibly characterising the interiors.
Andre Hoek says of the yacht, “once again we have combined the timeless and elegant, good looks of a classic yacht design with an optimised underwater body using modern design software”.
High volumes offer a generous layout featuring an owner’s suite and main salon on the main deck, the bridge and sky lounge on the bridge deck, plus four double cabins, three crew cabins and service areas on the lower deck.

SES Yachts currently have a 40m sailing yacht and 26m motor yacht due for completion later this summer.
