Nicknamed the ‘Red Bullet’ by one of her designers, 80m (263’) superyacht LEONA has been named the winner in the 2024 Best of Marine category in Robb Report’s 36th Annual Best of the Best list. In contrast to her ultra-modern red and white exterior, the award recognises the yacht’s crowning glory: the opulent Grecian style beach club.
Designed by H2 Yacht Design, the one of kind beach club boasts a 28ft blue-tiled swimming pool surrounded by Grecian inspired sculptures, marble fountains and back lit wall panels. During the day light floods in through the shell doors, while at night a fibre-optically lit ceiling creates the effect of a starry night sky. As well as the swimming pool, the beach club includes a shisha smoking lounge, wellness area decorated with gold-coloured furnishings, treatment rooms and sauna plus mirrored gym. A cinema lounge adorned with ruby red velvet also sits on the lower deck adjacent to the beach club, so guests can indulge in a movie post-workout.
Superyacht LEONA adds this award to the long list she has already won since her debut at the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show which include: Boat International Design and Innovation award for Outstanding Exterior Design – Motor Yachts 60m+ in 2024, International yacht and Aviation Award for Motor yacht over 60m.
A true icon of modern yacht design, she is also committed to environmental stewardship with her 100% clean air emissions.
