The 79m luxury mega yacht ROCINANTE was photographed on sea trials following an extensive 10-month refit at Lurssen shipyard. Almost no information about the refit is available, as it has been kept under strict privacy.
Measuring 78,5 m (257’5″), Rocinante, previously known as TV, was launched in 2008 by Lurssen. Her beam measures 13,8 metres and has a draft of 3,75m with a volume of 2,334 GT. Her exterior design was created by the renamed yacht design studio Espen Oeino International with elegant and sumptuous interiors by Alberto Pinto.
Accommodation on board is believed to be for up to eighteen guests as well as for a professional and highly-skilled crew of 25, including the captain’s quarters. Built in steel hull with an aluminium superstructure ROCINANTE is fitted with two Caterpillar engines, allowing her to reach a maximum speed of 18 knots. It is believed that ROCINANTE will now be available for charter. Please, enquire for more information.
