Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) have announced the delivery and christening of 42.61m (139’12”) explorer yacht BABBO – having formally been known as B2 – following her launch in July 2024. She features naval architecture by Hydro Tec and exterior and interior design by Francesco Paszkowski.
The tri-deck project has been described by CdM as a ‘one off project’ and is characterised by spacious exteriors and a stylish and inviting interior. A large beach club offers a sauna and hammam leading out onto an expansive swim platform. The tender and jet skis are stored on the upper deck forward and the yacht also travels with a chase boat.
Accommodation is for up to twelve guests in six ensuite staterooms including four main deck cabins and two lower deck cabins. There is separate accommodation for eight crew members while the captain benefits from private quarters on the upper deck adjacent to the wheelhouse.
Power comes from twin Caterpillar engines which deliver a top speed of 14 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
Currently docked in Ancona, Italy, superyacht BABBO is awaiting her maiden voyage with her lucky new owners.
