The fashionable places ‘to be’ on your superyacht this year in 2011 in the Mediterranean are the Italian and French Riviera, which offer magical places like St Tropez, Monaco, Cannes, Portofino, Positano and Capri. There are also the naturally beautiful islands of Sardinia, Corsica and Sicily. These are the places where the crewed superyacht charters operate. France
In fact one of the most visited charter areas is the French Mediterranean. It’s not surprising when you have a place that has an ideal climate, a dramatic landscape and a fantastic diversity, from glitzy restaurants to relaxed beaches. This holiday France experience from the water by yacht takes in St Tropez, to Cannes Nice and Monaco.
The main French Riviera charter season extends from May, June, July, august September and October but the high season where the yachts are in the most demand is July and August. During most of these month the wind in the French Rivera is rarely is too strong and the ocean is typically relaxed and calm.

Italy
Italy is perhaps the most romantic of yacht charter destinations and the summer of 2011 will be another year that holiday makers take in the relaxed and beautiful Italian coast line by boat. In this corner of the Mediterranean July and August are the hot months for the weather and also the yachts. The shoulder seasons of June and September are also very much worth considering as there are less crowds and more tranquillity on offer.
An Italy charter includes places like Portofino, which is perhaps the most well known and most photographed port of all. It includes the wonders of Capri and Positano on the Amalfi Coast, and the fashionable superyacht beaches in Sardinia, not to mention the historical treasures of Sicily and the Aeolian Islands. Tuscany, Elba and the Tuscan Archipelago is another area to explore.

Croatia
Croatia offer excellent variety, calm winds and turquoise waters during the summer high holidat moths of July & August. Croatia`s Adriatic coast enables the chance to explore many hundreds of pristine islands, beaches and impressive landscapes. There are peaceful coves, picturesque and historic quaint ports and seaside resorts and restaurants. On a Croatia yacht charter some of the main spots to visit including Dubrovnik, Split, Pula, Biograd and Zadar.
There are over one thousand mostly islands make up the Dalmatian Islands and the sea here is a remarkably clean and, unspoilt part of the Mediterranean. The cities and villages are ancient and intriguing. Sardinia
Sardinia is a haven for larger luxury yacht charters. This island in the Middle of the Mediterranean is where the superyachts come in the summer months of June, July, August and September, and the 2011season will be no different. With one of Europe’s most dramatic coastlines Sardinia is where golden sands meet oceans of turquoise and rugged mountains rise above into the blue skies.

This coastline is one of the world’s most exciting natural environments and there are countless gleaming white coves and bays to explore.
