Sunseeker Yachts, the British luxury yacht builder has now finished building their latest 40 metre motor yacht ‘Chiqui’. Yacht CHIQUI is Sunseeker’s second hull in the new composite materials (GRP) 40 meter series which began with yacht Tanvas which was hull number one. Tanvas is yacht Chiqui’s sister ship (as pictured) and the boat debuted the 40 m series at the 2010 Southampton Boat Show.
M/Y Chiqui has a dark coloured hull as complimented with a white superstructure. She is a 200-tonne displacement yacht has an 8-meter beam and a draught just over 2.20-meters.
A 1,500 nautical mile range with nearly 32,000 LT capacity tanks make this yacht blue water capable and ideal for the Mediterranean or Caribbean area. She has a top speed approaching 26 knots. She is designed and built to RINA unrestricted navigation classification.
Yacht ‘Chiqui’ has ‘spacious accommodation for up to 12 guests with clever layouts that allow the crew of 7 to move discreetly about the boat. There is an extraordinarily wide choice of cabin configurations, and options include the newly introduced, automated balconies to the forward master suite and main deck.’ Chiqui has since cruised to the Mediterranean for the summer.
‘The recently completed Sunseeker Luxury Motor Yacht “Chiqui” was photographed here undergoing last minute finishing at the Sunseeker build yard in Poole Harbour, Dorset UK. The “Chiqui” yacht is a 40m Yacht with an 8m beam and has a maximum speed of 24 knots driven by Twin Screws and diesel engines.’
