Camper & Nicholsons Marinas, global marina group, and BR Marinas, Brazil’s leading marina group, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cooperate in the growth of luxury marinas in Brazil. The key purpose of the partnership is the development of C&N Marinas in Brazil, and in technology exchange and marketing cross promotion.
Antonio Carlos Lobato, Chairman and founder of BR Marinas said ‘Brazil’s continuing economic development has led to an increasing demand for marinas and superyacht facilities. Our customers are also seeking international standards of service. We feel C&N’s unrivalled international experience, and long tradition of excellence, will help us accelerate the delivery of those standards.’
Nick Maris CEO of C&N Marinas said ‘we are delighted to be working with the acknowledged leader of Brazil’s marina market. We have jointly identified certain marinas which could form the core of a network of C&N marinas which would link with our Caribbean, Mediterranean and other international marinas.’
The agreement reflects the growing importance of international networks in the marina business combining various experiences, knowledge and skill base. BR Marinas is a long standing operation in Brazil and there is plenty of scope for the two companies to collaborate on many projects along the Brazilian Coast. C&N Marinas stands to benefit from BR Marinas knowledge, experience and contacts within Brazil while BR Marinas gains association of one of the most renowned names in yachting, alongside the knowledge, expertise and proven success of the C&N worldwide team.
