MONDO MARINE is pleased to announce its second launch of this season. Commission number 60, an all-aluminium 49.15-metre semi-displacement yacht ALEXANDER AGAIN has been successfully launched. Superyacht Alexander Again features a beam of 9 metres. She follows the launch of the 50m aluminium hull semi-displacement motor yacht ZALIV III in March, 2011.
THE EXTERNAL LINES of the Mondo Marine yacht Alexander Again are by architect Giorgio Vafiadis, with the interior and exterior spaces shaped by the creative drive of Florentine designer Luca Dini.
The interiors are majestic and imposing, with a concept based on contrasting glossy black lacquer and rosewood with gold and silver leaf and mirrors, drawing inspiration from the natural contrast between dark and light. The impact is strengthened by moulding, bas-reliefs and cornices that enhance effects and the spaces.
The use of select materials and rare, refined finishes characterise all the freestanding pieces the owner specified for all the yachts interiors, in a highly original play of styles and reinterpretations.
THE LOWER DECK LAYOUT OF ALEXANDER AGAIN YACHT COMPRISES four guest cabins – two VIPs aft and two cabins forward, only one with two beds – each with independent bathroom. There is a large saloon on the main deck, along with the owner’s suite, and a second saloon and owner’s office with bathroom on the upper deck. The two daytime decks offer day toilets and pantries to provide guests with all necessary comfort and services.
Delivery of the Mondo Marine M/Y Alexander Again in scheduled for July, 2011.
Four yachts are currently under construction at the Italian shipyard Mondo Marine, these range from 41 metres to 54 metres in length over all.
