A Dykstra & Partners 47-meter schooner is currently under construction at Ada Yacht Works shipyard in Turkey. The designer of the 46.90 metre sailing yacht is famous Dutch naval architect Gerard Dykstra (Gerard Dykstra & Partners). The yacht is scheduled for delivery in July 2012.
Dykstra 47-meter schooner built be Ada Yacht Works will be the sistership of the mighty schooner Windrose of Amsterdam, the winner of the St. Barths Bucket 2008 and a frequent participant in regattas around the world.
The new 47m superyacht built by Ada Yacht Works will have the same stunning classic hull and modern rigs and will reach at least 23 knots under sail.
The 47m steel schooner is being constructed to RINA class, and will be able to accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 guest cabins, with a crew of 6.

The Ada Yacht Company was originally founded in 1993 by Vedat Semiz. The shipyard’s production facilities include an enclosed area of 2000 square metres. To date, the Ada Yacht yard has built 12 yachts ranging in length from 15 to 40 metres.
