Amnesia IV Yacht is a handsome starlight plumb bow style 65m (213.25ft) superyacht with an especially flowing and well balanced contemporary profile. She is due to be launched in 2010 by the Italian yacht building company Benetti Yachts. Redman Whiteley Dixon have very successfully designed both exterior and interior design and Benetti was the in-house Naval Architect for the Amnesia IV superyacht .

The yacht was ordered by the same owner who built motor yacht AMNESIA III, also at Benetti, so there will be a continuation in pushing design and technology to create an outstanding yacht.

The main goal when designing this luxury superyacht AMNESIA IV, was to create a vessel with an extremely versatile and flexible interior. This concept is very useful when considering the increasing demands of the charter business.
Superyacht AMNESIA IV’s contemporary hull and superstructure are highly developed by using technology normally employed by the automotive industry. This has been achieved through working closely with Benetti naval architects.

“The design brief was – in brief – precisely the same as for Amnesia III: ‘to design a modern, practical, clean charter yacht which maintains the spirit of the previous Amnesia, but also to push the exterior envelope, including the hull profile. The near plumb bow is – we believe – a first for Benetti.”

The main yacht concept was to create an ‘uncompromising environment’ and thereby exceed the most refined hotels by utilising a exquisite selection of interior finishes. The boat is full of interesting spaces and textures, one of the most striking features is the main saloon with floor to ceiling windows, which gives Amnesia IV a much more architectural feel than many boats of her size.
Luxury Super Yacht AMNESIA IV can accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 luxurious staterooms. She also offers accommodation for a crew of 10 in 5 crew cabins.
The 2010 Benetti Amnesia IV yacht is powered by two Caterpillar 3516B Diesel 2,260hp (each) engines, which give her the power to reach a top speed of 15 knots with a range of 5000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots.
