The International Superyacht Society (ISS) and Professional Yachtsmen’s Association (PYA) are pleased to announce that for the fifth time, they are co-hosting one of the must do events during the Monaco Yacht Show, the Meeting of the Associations, again being held at the prestigious Yacht Club de Monaco on Wednesday 21 September 2011 from 17h30-19h30.
The event is one of the Monaco Yacht Show’s greatest opportunities to network and to enjoy food and wine in a most breathtaking environment. Made possible entirely by the staunch support of PYA and ISS Sponsors, this year’s supporters include some of the most recognizable brands in the large yacht industry: DuPont, Marina Port Vell and Shipyard Trogir.
ISS and PYA appreciate the unwavering support of sponsors such as DuPont, Marina Port Vell and Shipyard Trogir; their support enables the associations to create dynamic networking functions which are more critical than ever to the success of the large yacht industry.
Over the years, the Meeting of the Associations has also featured an International Wine Tasting which is also supported fully by sponsorship. Representing French, Italian and New World wines, PYA and ISS welcome back SO.SE.MA and Shore Solutions as returning and committed supporters of the event.
New in 2011, the Meeting of the Associations will be open only to PYA and ISS members and a guest of their choice, provided the members RSVP. Both associations encourage large yacht industry, owners, captains and crew to ensure that their membership is current. After receiving their invitations, members will RSVP at a dedicated PYA site. Once registered, they will print a ticket for two.
For those wishing to attend but who are not members, tickets are €25 and must be purchased through the site: http://rsvp.pya.org/event/2011-Meeting-of-the-Associations.
“Our decision to move to a member plus guest platform for this wonderful event is a reminder to our industry and our customers that organizations like PYA and ISS are here to foster, protect and promote the large yacht industry and lifestyle,” says Bob Saxon, ISS’s President. “In order to fulfil a vital function for owners, captains, crew and industry leadership, perpetuating membership is a critical function,” he continues.
