NISI Yachts are proud to announce successful 2011 World Yachts Trophies where their recently unveiled motor yacht NISI 2400 model received an award for the ‘Best Design’ in the ‘under 80’/24m’ category.
Finalists included the Ferretti 720 and Dominator 720 in the Best Design category. NISI was also a finalist in the “Most Innovative” category in the sub-24m sports yacht grouping. The World Yachts Trophy is the most prestigious award of its kind and is awarded annually to select yachts by the World Yachts Trophies Committee. Making her European debut at the 2011 Cannes International Boat Show, NISI’s groundbreaking design infuses casual opulence, legendary styling and unsurpassed engineering in a 78-foot megayacht. NISI 2400 is the first and only yacht under 100 feet built to commercial RINA Charter Class and MCA Commercial (MGN 280) certification.
“On behalf of myself and the rest of the NISI Yachts team, we thank the World Yachts Trophies panel of esteemed judges for honoring us with this award,” said Christos Livadas, Chairman of NISI Yachts. “I am proud of the quality and craftsmanship achieved by our team on NISI 2400, and of the recognition granted to us by this panel of independent industry experts. For us, NISI is a modern classic with cutting-edge style that offers state-of-the-art technology for optimum performance, handling, and safety.”
The trophy was accepted on Saturday evening by Mr. Livadas at the World Yachts Trophies award ceremony, hosted by LuxMedia Group, one of the highlight events of the Cannes International Boat Show.
European owned NISI Yachts is the first and only builder with China-based production to be awarded a World Yachts Trophy.
