Following on the recent deliveries of a Mulder 68 Convertible motor yacht and a Mulder 68 Wheelhouse, Mulder Shipyard delivered a brand-new Mulder_92 Flybridge yacht called MIMI to an Egyptian owner in April.
Mulder Shipyard has now been commissioned to build a ‘Mulder 72 Convertible for a client in Germany. The motor yacht Mulder 72 Convertible will be based on the Mulder 68 Convertible, with a slightly extended length measuring 22 metres.

Designed by Guido de Groot, the new yacht Mulder 72 Convertible is another superior yacht with an exceptionally intelligent layout. Its modern interior will feature an owners’ suite lcoated aft with a VIP cabin located in the foreship, both with ensuite facilities. The yacht also has a crew cabin with head and shower in the aft vessel.
The exterior of the Mulder 72 Convertible will feature a dark-blue hull and an off-white superstructure combined with an Estek deck and various stainless steel accessories. There will be a large garage for a 3.5-metre jet-propelled tender aft. The fore part of the superstructure will contain a large skylight over the light and spacious salon and the yacht’s wheelhouse will have a large sliding roof powered by a hydraulic system. With its elegant lines, the new 72 has a graceful appearance similar to all Mulder Shipyard Convertibles.

The yard has already started with the construction of the new yacht and delivery is planned for 2011. In August, the Mulder yard is also due to deliver a new Mulder 59 Convertible, a new Mulder 73 Wheelhouse and a new Mulder 77 Wheelhouse. With its extensive experience in building customised aluminium motor yachts, Mulder Shipyard has served many international clients over the years. The construction of the 72 Convertible adds another all-aluminium yacht to the Mulder Shipyard fleet.
