James Watt Dock Marina is situated only 22 miles from the centre of Glasgow yet provides with convenient access to the well-known sailing waters of the Clyde and West Coast of Scotland.
Opened in July 2011 following the visit of the Tall Ships Races to Greenock, the marina now offers 65+ serviced berths including a number of visitor berths. As well as excellent transport links by road, rail and air the marina is also accessible at all states of the tide offering a secure home or useful destination for one´s yacht.
With a minimum depth of 5.1m (17ft) and a combination of finger and alongside pontoon berths as well as wall berths of up to 45m+, the marina can cater for a range of leisure craft.
James Watt Dock Marina also offers lift out facilities as well as hard-standing storage ashore as well as under cover storage for caravans and boats on trailers with some limited under cover storage for yachts and motorboats.
Currently the marina offers 65 berths for yachts from 6m-24m (20ft-79ft). Its possible expansion is being taken into consideration, offering accommodation to yachts up to 92m.
The official opening of James Watt Dock Marina will take place on 28th April 2012.
